[Treatment of osseous ruptures of the flexor tendons with resorbable materials].

The avulsion fracture of the extensor tendon is first fixed with two PDS-splints to prevent rotation. Thereafter, the fragment is put on compression by a PDS-suture. The treatment is similar to the use of Kirschner wires and a wire tension-band.

[A special case: scleroderma].

Progressive systemic scleroderma is presented in an individual case of an acrosclerotic variant, the diagnosis of which was only made following a casual minor trauma. Analysis disclosed further manifestation in various organs, which had been treated for many years without knowledge of the real cause.
