Iniencephaly is a rare lethal malformation. It is associated with a defect in the occiput, alterations in the spinal column that are variable and retroflexion of the fetus. Antenatal diagnosis by ultrasound is possible because of the typical appearance: the fetal head is hyperextended, with distortion and shortening of the cervical spine. The occiput can be fused with lower vertebrae. Many associated malformations may be found: polyhydramnios, neurologic, facial and visceral abnormalities.
The authors report two ovarian fibromas observed in two sisters whose clinical story suggested a basal cell naevus syndrome or Gorlin-Goltz syndrome.

The splenic cysts are rare diseases and the diagnosis is now easier with modern imaging modalities. The authors report two cases of asymptomatic splenic cysts. The spontaneous involution in less than 3 years has been followed by CT Scan. This possible evolution which has never been described, the improvements of the splenic surgery and the risk of serious infectious complications after splenectomy, must modify the indications of the treatment. A US or CT follow up can be purposed for non symptomatic cyst and a partial splenectomy when these lesions are clinically symptomatic.
Ultrasound examination was performed in a 45 year-old pregnant woman at 17 weeks gestation. A morphologic abnormality was seen of the nape which could not be interpreted. Amniocentesis could not be performed. Termination of pregnancy by hysterotomy was carried out. Postmortem examination showed an intact fetus with a soft tissue thickening at the back of the neck and a ventricular septal defect. Chromosomal analysis was reported as 47,XY,+21. This case demonstrates that an excess of skin of the foetal nape can be seen at ultrasound examination and may suggest a Down syndrome.
The MR imaging appearance of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy is described in four cases that were confirmed by brain biopsy. Characteristic aspects are long T1 and long T2 lesions limited to white matter. At first the lesions are round or oval, then confluent and large. There is no mass effect. The involvement is most often asymmetric and distant from the periventricular region. The differential diagnosis includes other diseases affecting white matter: demyelination, infarction, infection, and tumors.
