[Problems of designing cardiac monitoring systems].

The paper considers one of the ways of solving the problems arising from the design of up-to-date monitoring systems. It describes a Karmon 01M multifunctional fixed monitor manufactured by SEM (Systems of Electronics and Medicine), which may include as many as three randomly chosen modules and replace software for new versions.

[Diagnostic unit EKS-K1200].

The paper presents the block diagram of the unit, describes some assemblies and its operation as a whole, gives information on the software and technical data. The computer-based EKS-K 1200 unit integrates a pacemaker, a 12-channel electrocardiograph with a monitor, and a database.
