The authors report a case of undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver, observed in a 25 year old man, in whom the diagnosis, established by histological findings, was confirmed at immunohistochemical examinations. The clinical and pathological features of these conditions are discussed.
The authors report a case of primary malignant melanoma of the rectum seen in an 84-year-old woman. This blackish tumour measuring 3 cm in diameter and situated 8 cm from the anal margin was treated by surgical excision. The patient died during the immediate postoperative period.

Hémorrhagic manifestations are relatively common in dysproteinemias (7 à 15% in myeloma, 36% in macroglobulinemia) but they are not often related to a qualitative platelet defect. In the present work we have studied the influence of some monoclonal immunoglobulins on the function of isolated normal platelets. The results show that platelet aggregations to collagen and ADP are impaired in presence of high concentration of paraproteins (about 50 gm/l). The molecular size of the protein is also important. This is in agreement with most studies and support the hypothesis that paraproteins interfere with platelet activity.
We report 65 cases of MALT gastric lymphomas. HP was looked for with Giemsa and Whartin Starry stains. Immunohistochemistry was done with PAP method. Anti-HP treatment was used in 9 cases. 38 were of low grade of malignancy, 23 were high grade, 4 were high grade with a low grade component. The mean age was 51.5 years, the sex ratio 1.5. Epigastric pain was the most frequent feature (87.7% of cases). Endoscopically, low grade lymphomas presented as unique or multiple ulcerations (55.3% of cases) with antral localisation (52.6% of cases). 60% of our patients were stage IE, of which 61% had low grade lymphoma, 18% were at stage II2E, 10% at stage III and 10% at stage IV. From 23 operated patients, 29% had early lymphoma which was low grade malignant in 71.5% of cases, and 71% had lymphomas which were widely spread beyond the submucosa. HP was found in 63% of cases. Histologic regression of two early lymphomas of low grade malignancy was achieved after HP eradication.
The occurrence of Cushing's syndrome during pregnancy is rare. Sixty-eight cases have been reported in the literature of which 42.7% were secondary to an adrenal adenoma, 10.2% to an adrenal carcinoma, 26.5% to a bilateral adrenal hyperplasia and 11.8% to Cushing's disease. We report the case of a patient in whom the diagnostic of Cushing's syndrome with an adrenal adenoma was established during the postpartum period.
The authors report one case of a intraperitoneal rupture of an hydatic cyst. The diagnosis of rupture was performed pre-operatively by tomodensitometry which has demonstrated the rupture and an intraperitoneal epanchement.
