[Spinal opioid anesthesia for cesarean section].

The spinal opioid anaesthesia indicated its onset in 1982 with the report of Mircea et al. on its usage in surgery. Our aim was to study the possibilities for the usage of Petidine as a single drug for anaesthesia in caesarean section as well as its effect on the newborns. Fifty women with elective caesarean section and their infants were investigated in respect to: time of occurrence of anaesthesia, level of sensory block, presence of motor block, duration of anaesthesia and side reactions. The newborns were studied in respect to: clinical state evaluated by Apgar score, acid-base balance (ABB) as well as blood gases in the umbilical artery (UA), umbilical vena (UV) and capillary blood within the first hour after delivery. The authors think that the spinal opioid anesthesia with Petidine can be used in caesarean section. Infants are born with very good clinical state, ABB and gases in blood. capillary blood within the first hour after delivery.

Anesthesia, Obstetrical

[A clinical trial of the preparation hypnomidate in gynecological operations].

The influence of the venous anaesthetic hypnomidate (Yansen, Belgium), used as an induction anaesthetic, was studied on some parameters of respiration, hemodynamics, acid-base balance. The authors are of the opinion that the preparation is suitable for induction in anaesthesia especially in patients with high risk.

Anesthesia, Intravenous

[Anesthesia with dormicum-aneksat in obstetrical-gynecological operations].

Anaesthesia with dormicum-anexat were carried out on 38 women with abdominal gynecological operations. Furthermore a group of 32 women with induced interruption of pregnancy was studied as well. Time of sleeping and clinical parameters respiration, arterial blood pressure, changes in acid-base balance before and after induction in anaesthesia were examined. The effect of dormicum was neutralized by anexat in all women. An evaluation was made on the effect of anexat on waking, awareness and orientation of the patients. In the inferences the authors summarize their experience in usage of doricum-anexat.

Adolescent

[Our experience with spinal anesthesia in cesarean section].

The study included 400 women, undergone delivery by cesarean section (300 retrospectively and 100 prospectively) for a 2-year period. The influence of the spinal anaesthesia was investigated on the hemodynamics of the mother and the clinical state of the newborn (according to Apgar). The spinal anaesthesia occupies substantial place among the methods, used for anesthetization in cesarean section. The authors are of the opinion that the spinal anesthesia is quick, easy for technical performance and effective method for anaesthesia in cesarean section, accompanied by few complications and side effects.
