[Social roles in symbiotic psychoses].
On the basic of the observation of two sisters and two brothers who are suffering from a symbiontic psychosis and showed considerable social peculiarities, the significance of the extreme isolation in the development of this disease is pointed out. The isolation from the environment, which is considered to be hostile, led in each case to a grotesque living and delusion community, which was stabilised by the partners by, among other things, a rigid adoption of preshaped social roles.

[The elderly and aging depressed patient].
Using an one-year-analysis depressive people beyond the age of 60 are analysed during a catamnesis-project considering clinical dates (under psychopathological, psychosocial and therapeutical emphasis) in which have directions for a change of the proportion of sick people to healthy people and the change of the shape of age-depressive syndromes deduced.

[Reflections on the need for geropsychiatric management in a rural district].
It is reported about results of a pilot study to the investigation of the geropsychiatric care demand for the district Haldensleben and conclusions to the geronto-psychiatric care structure of organization are added.
