Health agencies and fundraising success.
Non-profit health agencies face critical decisions when allocating resources for fundraising efforts. Agency managers and board members need to consider the pros and cons of using in-house or contracted fundraisers. Marketing expenditures, target populations, and fundraising techniques must be determined. A recent study analysed data from 85 Canadian health agencies to learn more about the characteristics of agencies that are successful in fundraising. This article provides a brief description of the study and its findings.
