Verrucous carcinoma of a leg amputation stump.
Verrucous carcinoma of the skin is a rare cancer which tends to appear on the soles of the feet, although it can appear elsewhere on the cutaneous surface. It has not, to our knowledge, been previously reported on a leg amputation stump.

Incomplete Reiter's syndrome in a black patient showing HLA B 27.
We report a case of incomplete Reiter's syndrome in a black patient, who was first incorrectly diagnosed as having rheumatoid arthritis. We discuss the challenge involved in diagnosing incomplete forms of the syndrome and the value of a positive HLA B 27 antigen level in black patients.

Immunopathological changes after multiple spider bites.
Utilizing a panel of immune complex assays, antigen-antibody complex formation in a 29-year-old man shortly after a spider bite was documented. The clinical picture and laboratory parameters were consistent with a serum sickness reaction. Immune hyperactivity was evidenced by a detectable autoimmune serological response. This constellation of findings may be a common attendant to arthropod envenomation.

Pustular acneiform secondary syphilis.
A patient with a generalized acne-like skin eruption on the trunk, extremities, and face is described. Examination of a skin biopsy specimen revealed syphilis as did positive results of serologic tests. Physicians should be aware of this type of secondary syphilis.
