Nursing models--the arguments.

Like so many developments in nursing, the adaptation of nursing models to assist in care planning in the operating department is being undertaken at a time of increased patient throughput and often decreasing numbers of trained nursing staff. Given this scenario, many operating department nurses are questioning whether models are appropriate or not.
