A culture collection of bacterial isolates from Lake Erie and Lake Victoria.
We present a culture collection of 44 aquatic bacterial cultures isolated from samples collected from Lake Erie's Sandusky and Maumee Bays and Lake Victoria's Winam Gulf. Here, we detail isolation, cryopreservation, and genomic DNA preparation methods and sequences of full-length 16S rRNA genes.
