[Clinical factors and the ultrastructural characteristics of the tumor in the prognosis of small-cell lung cancer].
Multifactorial mathematic methods were used to evaluate individual survival and effectiveness of chemotherapy in patients with small-cell lung cancer. Several clinical and morphological characteristics were shown to affect prognosis. Ultrastructural features proved to be of high value in prognosing tumor regression and disease outcome.
