[Combined method for preventing alveolar process deformation after tooth extraction].

This paper presents a combined method for prevention of deformation of the alveolar process of the jaws after tooth extraction. This method was used in 26 patients of different age. Use of colapol in the KP-3l modification and laser coagulation method in combination with immediate orthodontic treatment led to reduction of the incidence of inflammatory complications. The method is recommended for practical use.

[Complex method of the diagnosis of the mandibular injury based of informational technologies].

Special method of complex diagnosis of mandibular injury is under consideration. It is based on the informational technologies. The study of the mechanisms of the injury's formation has been made on 109 patients of the skull-jaw-facial surgery department of the hospital were under investigation. Two main types of jaw-facial injuries have been revealed. The first type: falling down from the height of one's own size (stature). The second type: blow (stroke) of a blunt object. The decrease of the number of the inflammatory complications of the broken jaw due to the usage of new algorithms on the basis of informational technologies has been noted.

[Experience in using complex flaps on microvascular anastomoses in treating with skin cancer on the face and scalp, appearing in scarred areas].

The authors describe 11 patients operated upon for carcinoma of the face skin and hairy part of the head developing from scars of various etiology. The substitution of vast defects which had appeared after dissection of a tumor was performed by means of microsurgical autotransplantation of tissue complexes. The following vascularized autotransplants were used: musculus serratus anterior, scapular and radial grafts. Positive results were obtained in all the cases. The authors consider the microsurgical autotransplantation of tissue complexes to be a necessary component of surgical treatment of carcinoma of the skin and hairy part of the head developed from vast and deep scars.

[Low-frequency pulsed magnetotherapy combined with electrostimulation of biologically active points in the combined treatment of traumatic mandibular osteomyelitis].

The results of treatment are analyzed in 51 patients (35 with exacerbation of chronic traumatic mandibular osteomyelitis and 16 with chronic traumatic mandibular osteomyelitis). Low-intensity pulsed magnetic therapy of the focus in combination with electric stimulation of segmentary bioactive points, synchronized by the patient's pulse, are proposed to be added to the therapeutic complex. Such a modality improved the regional hemodynamics, promoted liquidation of the postoperative edema on days 1-2 after intervention, and sooner than after traditional therapy repaired the energy of the patient's organism.

[Magnetic and electromagnetic stimulation in the combined treatment of patients with paralysis of the mimetic musculature].

The original method of treatment of patients with postoperative paresis of mimic muscles wis offered. The method included the use of two therapeutic factors: magnetotherapy and electromagnetostimulation of peripheral branches of facial nerve. The principles of combined influence of both components were described in detail. Data on functional control of treatment results confirm the reparation of peripheral branches of facial nerve.

[Method of plastic replacement of extended laryngopharyngeal and cervical esophagus defects ].

Filling of extended pharyngoesophagostomas were made in 13 patients operated for advanced laryngeal cancer by means of microsurgical autotransplantation by the forearm radial flap. The latter was created in the form of two cutaneous elements on common fascial base. After transfer of the autotransplant in the recipient's bed, one cutaneous element filled the defect of the laryngopharyngeal and esophageal inner coating, the second filled the defect of the outer coating. This method is reliable, effective, low traumatic, helps to avoid abdominal surgery.
