[A case of spasmophilic syndrome].
The case is described of a 43 year old woman with spasmophilic syndrome. For 12 years she had suffered from fainting fits, marked morning asthenia, anxiety, depression, widespread arthromyalgia, blood pressure fluctuations, precordial pains, paresthesia and painful nocturnal cramp. This clinical picture appeared in a subject with a double left kidney and stones in the supernumerary ureter, enlargement of the pancreatic head and tail revealed by a CAT scan and an earlier cholecystectomy. Given the multiplicity of symptoms diagnosis was necessarily by a process of elimination. The data providing grounds for optimism were a positive Chvostek's sign, stable calcium phosphorus profiles, a reduction in ionised calcium and favourable eletromyographic readings.

[Study of the effects of free radicals produced by ultraviolet rays on viscosity of human synovial fluid. Methodological details].
After having pointed out a method measurement of the synovial Fluid (S.F.) viscosity by means of a white blood cell diluting pipette, obtaining results similar to those of Ostwald's viscometer, the AA have studied the osteoarthrotic S.F. viscosity after Ultra Violet Illumination. The production of Free Radicals induced by U.V., determines a fall of osteoarthrotic S.F. viscosity towards the values found in arthritic S.F..So, the AA, indirectly, confirme the capacity of Free Radicals to induce a S.F. viscosity modification like that provoked by the phlogistic process.

[Cell-mediated immunity after blocking of the H2 lymphocyte receptors].
The effects of cimetidine have been evaluated in 10 normal subjects on cutaneous delayed reactions in vivo, and on E rosette forming cells in vitro, in order to define the significance of the lymphocytes H2 receptors in cell-mediated immunity. The results show the immuno-suppressive activity of histamine, but do not allow us to hypothesize an immuno-regulatory action of cimetidine.
