[The immunological status of Cyprinus carpio L. in experimental mycotoxicosis].

Some humoral factors of nonspecific resistance have been determined in carp yearlings in 28 days after intraperitoneal administration of fungi culture filtrate (I), conidia (II), micellar extract (III) of the fungus Aspergillus fumigatus Fres., physiological solution (control). The toxicogenic and immunogenic effect of the fungus has been shown in I and II variants of the experiment respectively. The injection of fungus micella did not have any influence on the studied factors. The account of specific and quantitative composition of zooparasites in experiments and under control has been carried out; no truly differences have been revealed.

[Bacteria of the genus Aeromonas and their role in aquaculture].

Bacteria of genus Aeromonas are constant components of microbiota of fresh reservoirs where they, together with other microorganisms, play the part of natural biofilter and promote water self-purification. They are necessarily present in normal microflora of hydrobionts inhabiting fresh reservoirs. The greatest attention is paid by the researchers to Aeromonas and biotrophs in connection with epizootics in aquaculture which have become more frequent, in particular, under fish breeding. That is why the review is, to more extent, concerned in the works of this trend made by the foreign and home researchers for the last decade.

[A toxicological evaluation of micromycetes isolated from salmon roe].

Three species of micromycetes (Aspergillus clavatus Desm., Cladosporium herbarum (Pers) Lk., Penicillium canescens Sopp.) isolated from the cultivated salmon spawn have been studied for their toxigenic properties and pathogenicity for warm-blooded animals. LD50 are determined for mice perorally administered mycelium suspension of the first two species; the third of the studied species proved to be nontoxicogenic. The possible pathogenic action of mycotoxins on fish spawn in aquarium is discussed.

[Insemination of the salmon spawn by Micromycetes at the fish-rearing farm "Pushcha-Voditsa"].

Fungi of 21 species attributed to 11 genera of three classes--oomycetes, zygomycetes, deuteromycetes--have been isolated from the surface of the Salmo gairdneri Rich. spawn and from water samples of incubation apparatuses of the fish-rearing farm "Pushcha-Voditsa" (the Kiev Region). Among the revealed micromycetes only Saprolegnia parasitica C o k e r is a fish parasite. Most of isolates are imperfect fungi; they dominate among the hyphal forms in the mycobiota of fish and water and in natural water bodies. Fusarium sporotrichiella. B i l a i, one of the isolates, is slightly toxicogenic. It affects the fish spawn viability and biochemical indices: the joint incubation of spawn and fungi induces changes in the level of water-soluble protein, amylolytic and phosphatase activity. The disturbance of the spawn envelope integrity has been observed in the experiment.

[Yeasts contaminating salmon roe].

Quantitative and species compositions of yeast contaminating eggs, fry and fingerlings of Salmo gairdneri Rich under artificial breeding have been studied. Prevalence of species of genera Candida, Rhodotorula, Cryptococcus and Debaryomyces is noted. Yeast isolated from perished eggs and sick fry do not possess pathogenic properties. Certain strains of yeast make stimulating effect on the studied microorganisms.
