[Changes in the spectrum of low-molecular physiologically active substances in patients with acute pneumonia who abuse alcohol].

A study of low-molecular substances in the blood serum of patients with acute pneumonia showing different risk factors as evidenced by fluid chromatography and gel chromatography showed its high value in prognosis of immunosuppression, in assessing the activity of the inflammatory process, an indicator for detoxicating and immunostimulating therapy and determination of treatment efficacy.

[Changes of the immunologic indices in patients with hypertension combined with obesity].

A study of the immunological indices in patients with association of hypertensive disease and obesity revealed absolute and relative lymphocytosis, increased numbers of B-lymphocytes, immunoglobulins A, G, while the content of O-lymphocytes and immunoglobulins M did not change essentially. Due to lymphocytosis, absence of immunodeficiency, obese patients should keep hypocaloric diet for short time as one of the main methods of obesity treatment.
