[The results of the use of a skin-muscle island flap from the greater pectoral muscle].
Anatomic basis and operative instructions for raising the pectoralis major myocutaneous island flap are described. Taking into account the autogenous material, the suitability of the flap for covering large defects after tumor resection is shown. Problems of clinical application of the technique are discussed.
