[A method for the experimental determination of the doses of antigen protecting 50% of animals from a series of doses of pathogenic material].

A new immunological regularity has been discovered mathematically. Proceeding from this regularity, a simple index characterizing the pathological reactivity of animals has been proposed and a new (universal) method for the determination of the D50 of the antigen, i. e. doses protecting 50% of the animals receiving a series of doses of pathogenic material, has been developed and checked according to experimental data.

[Derivation of a formula based on the central-limit theorem for evaluating the effectiveness of immunization].

The theoretical formula for the determination of the degree of resistance in the animal immunized with equal doses of the antigen has been deduced in accordance with the known of Kapteyn by presenting the immunological transformation of the organism, caused by the introduction of the antigen, as the result of the consecutive action of a multitude of accidental independent or slightly connected reasons and by using the liminal infective dose as the quantitative index of this transformation.

[Probability mechanism of species adaptation].

A variant of mathematical description of the structure of a population was proposed. A possible mechanism of selection with respect to population structure was shown by a mathematical method. The dependence of the population heterogeneity on environmental factors and the relationship between heterogeneity and selection were considered. It is recommended to realize the conception of threshold values in each experiment of "dose-test-effect" type.

[The hypothesis of the least constraint and the lognormal distribution of individual sensitivity].

The connection between factors and individuals can be characterized by integral parameter and rigidity (constraint). Lognormal distribution of individual sensitivity in population has been substantiated on the basis of probabilistic entropy and evolutionary biology. The connection between heterogeneity of populations and natural selection has been demonstrated. A method for estimation of doses of harmful factors that influenced formation of populations during evolution.
