[Hemodynamic function before and after revascularization operations in patients with an ischemic stroke].

Patients with a history of cerebral infarction showed in the postischemic period a eukinetic and hypokinetic type of the systemic hemodynamics. Disorders of the cerebral circulation are mainly manifested in hypoperfusion of the cerebral blood vessels. Hypoperfusion of the brain tissue may be one of the hemodynamic indications to the operation of extra- and intracranial microanastomosis.

[Psychoautonomic syndrome in occlusive lesions of the basin of the internal carotid artery].

A complex psychophysiological investigation of 120 patients with occlusions in the territory of the internal carotid artery revealed regular disorders of the suprasegmental vegetative structures manifested as psychovegetative syndrome. This may be considered as one of the cases of limitation of the adaptation capacities of the of these patients.

[Giant saccular aneurysm of the basilar artery bifurcation ].

Obstructive hydrocephalus caused by large or giant aneurysm is rare. In most reported cases, the aneurysm was located at the bifurcation of the basilar artery and direct surgical treatment was considered to be hazardous. Endovascular treatment of the aneurysm with a detachable two-lumen balloon-catheter was performed immediately after ventricular shunt placement.

[Correlation of the angiographic, ophthalmologic and rheoencephalographic indices of the cerebral circulation in severe craniocerebral injuries].

The results of a study of cerebral haemodynamisc in 54 patients with severe craniocerebral injuries in the acute period and in the course of the lesion are presented. Ophthalmological, angiographic, and theoehcephalographic examinations were conducted. Distinct cerebral blood flow disorders were revealed in various cerebral vessels, consisting in a considerable increase of their tonicity, even as high as spasm, shifts, decelerations of the blood flow. Correlations between the indices of different methods were established.
