An autopsy case is described of a primary hemochromatosis in a 33-year-old man which was not diagnosed clinically. The peculiar feature of the disease was the absence of skin discolorations, definite symptoms of diabetes mellitus and a hepatic cirrhosis against the background of pigment cardiomyopathy. It's suggested that the progression of the heart pathology was due to the use of certain antibacterial preparations.
The authors presented experimental data on the assessment of radiation pathomorphosis of squamous cell carcinoma (RShM-2) in mice after single total irradiation at a dose of --Gy using radiomodifiers in various combinations. Blood flow inhibition used independently was shown to be and important factor in the implementation of the radiation antitumor effect. Good results were obtained in the combined use of blood flow inhibition and short-term induced hyperglycemia, the best results were achieved with the combined use of radiomodifiers during blood flow inhibition.
A clinico-morphological observation of Wegener granulomatosis in a 29-year-old man is described. The disease started with the gastrointestinal disorders followed by lung and renal disturbances which dominated. Heart enlargement and systolic-diastolic noise in the Botkin point were found. Infectious endocarditis with a complex aortal defect were diagnosed. The patient died 6 months later. The autopsy revealed a necrotizing lung granulomatosis, disseminated vasculitis, renal and spleen infarcts. Vasculitis with granulomatosis, destructive changes in the intima were found in the supravalvular part of the aorta and at the base of the aortic valve as well as severe fibrinous valvulitis.

Structural studies of resistive vessels in a 21-year-old woman who died in the postpartum period from rupture of the aorta in the presence of Erdheim's disease are described. Histological, histochemical, and immunomorphological methods were used, and microcirculation was examined in film preparations of adventitia treated with silver nitrate by Kupriianov's method. In the media of the aorta and the proximal parts of its large branches, nonspecific necrobiotic processes were in evidence, believed to be due to lesions in the microcirculatory bed of the vascular wall.

A case of nodular fibrohistiocytosis with tissue eosinophilia located in the submucous layer of the gallbladder in a woman of 42 is presented. Similar cases have been described so far only in the stomach. Clinically there existed conditions for the immune system disturbances (bronchial asthma).
