[The use of a portable CO2 laser in thoracic surgery].
The results of the thoracic operations conduction using a portable CO2 laser LST-20/01 in 93 patients were analyzed. The advantages and shortages of the laser technique are noted.

[Use of laser irradiation in the surgical treatment of pulmonary echinococcosis].
The experience of application of CO2- and AIG-laser in 105 patients with pulmonary echinococcosis was analyzed. Good immediate and late result was noted in 101 (96.2%) patient.

[The use of contact YAG-laser in surgeries on pleura and lungs].
The original sapphire scalpel and the thermal tip of quartz were used by the authors while performing interventions on lungs and pleura. High efficacy of operations and low frequency of complications were noted.
