56 patients with head vascular disturbances have been observed. Kirlean-graphic and REG data have been compared and their correlation has been found. Kirlian radiation reflects types of compensatory reactions of the adaptation. The use of the method is useful for early detection of disturbances in energy circulation of brain vessels during selection of health-improving drugs.
The peculiarities of pre-, intra- and early postoperative period course in 108 children, operated on for diffuse and general peritonitis of appendicitis origin, are studied. Most significant 34 prognostic factors for the disease outcome are choosed. The leading factors are the disease course duration, general condition of the patient while hospitalization, the vegetative disorders presence, the intestinal paresis degree, the biochemical inductors of stress contents, the peritoneal exudate character, the kind and composition of microorganisms in it, the character of an early postoperative period course.
The results of treatment of 139 patients with congenital pyelo-ureteric segment (PUS) narrowing were analyzed. Plastic operation was conducted in 117 of them, PUS plasty with the flap application--in 22. The prognostic significance of sign's norm deviations of the PUS diameter and length ratio as a risk factor was studied to substantiate the numerical criterion--of operation method choice. In accordance with this prognostic significance the value of Student's criterion was calculated. When the value of ratio is no more than 0.3--the narrowed part resection with subsequent ureteropelviostomy is indicated, and when this value is 0.31 or more--the PUS plasty with the flap application.

On the basis of mathematical analysis of the long-term results of operative treatment of 119 children with unilateral hydronephrosis caused by congenital obstruction of the pyelo-ureteral segment, the prognostically significant signs (risk factors) having unfavourable effect on the outcome of an operation were revealed. In retrospective analysis, the main types of the course of unilateral hydronephrosis in children were distinguished. In stable course, the conservative therapy is indicated, in non-stable--the intensive medicamentous therapy, or repeated corrective operation, in progressive--nephroureterectomy .
The paper analyses the methods of planning the resources for emergency medical care. The precise method for the determination of resources providing the target probability of urgent medical care is suggested. A corresponding programme for microcalculator has been worked out and a graphic method of calculation has been given.
On the basis of mathematical-statistical analysis of clinical data, 5 risk degrees permitting to predict the course of the disease were distinguished. An algorithm for management of the urologic patients is suggested.
On the basis of the periodic medical check-up of 1385 adults carried out by means of the Computerized Automated System of Medical Aid to the Population there were calculated the integral indices, i.e., an index of deviation (ID) and a dip angle of ID, describing the health status of the population. Calculation alternatives are given along with the ID use for information supply on health status of the population according to the established aims. Simplicity of the calculation procedure and a sufficient degree of information content promote the application of the proposed indices to health care.

The main parameters of the cardiohemodynamics, blood gas composition and acid-base balance were studied in 82 patients with uncomplicated influenza and in 124 patients with influenza aggravated by acute pneumonia. The disorders revealed were essentially dependent on the disease gravity and complications. To evaluate quantitatively the relationship between the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, use was made of the correlation ratios for all the pair parameters under study. The pulmonary artery pressure was highly dependent on the level of the diastolic systemic pressure in grave uncomplicated influenza (r = -0.932) and on the heart rate (r = +0.861) in influenza aggravated by pneumonia. These findings enabled the derivation of appropriate regression equations, which are simple and can thus be widely used in practice to measure the pressure in the pulmonary circulation and to correct pulmonary hypertension. The making up of the correlation schemes permitted evaluating the tendencies in the changes of the most important parameters of the cardiohemodynamics and homeostasis and forming a judgement about tension of the compensatory processes in the body during grave influenza and influenza complicated by acute pneumonia.

A selective proximal vagotomy risk map was created on the basis of risk factors of selective proximal vagotomy (SPV). The severity of initial state of the patient was determined by the map and expressed in scoring system. Four degrees of risk of unfavourable remote results of the operative procedure were established. The result was found to depend on the sum of scored points and risk degree. It was found that recurrent ulcers were most probable after isolated SPV, dumping syndrome followed SPV with the Finney pyloroplasty, other functional disorders took place after SPV with gastroduodenostomy after Jabuley.
