[Endaural reflex diagnosis of cochleovestibular dysfunctions in patients with vascular brain diseases].
The analysis of electrical conductivity of acupuncture points was performed in 225 patients with cochleovestibular dysfunctions against a background of cerebrovascular pathology. Original highly sensitive express-method with application of special registering device was proposed for endaural reflex diagnosis. The system was elaborated for interpretation of examination's results. It permitted either to confirm or to define more precisely both the location (side and level) and the stage of cochleovestibular damage.

[The functional properties of the cochlear-vestibular acupuncture points of the external auditory canal].
Endaural acupuncture points were studied in 60 healthy subjects. The points were found to have obvious advantages as compared with the commonly accepted points of the ear.

[The endaural laser acupuncture of patients with cochleovestibular dysfunction].
Based on a comprehensive clinico-neurophysiological examination of 80 patients with vertebrobasilar insufficiency and 30 practically healthy subjects, a method of endaural laseropuncture of patients with cochleovestibular dysfunction was devised. It has been discovered that the endaural points of acupuncture have a high functional activity and specificity to the cochleovestibular system. The data obtained supported the appreciable therapeutic efficacy of the new treatment method.

[A clinico-neurophysiological analysis of the single action of laser puncture].
Mechanisms were studied of a single exposure to laser puncture on the basis of clinico-neurophysiological investigations in 50 patients with cochleovestibular dysfunctions in the presence of vascular affections of the brain. In a comparative evaluation of endaural versus auricular laser puncture, more pronounced changes were revealed in all the parameters studied during the course of treatment with the former modality than they were with the latter, these parameters being the patients' general well-being as judged by subjective evidence, the ability of the points to conduct electrical current, and the findings from rheoencephalography, encephaloradiothermometry, audiovestibulometry.

[The results of endaural reflexotherapy in patients with vestibulocochlear dysfunction].
On the basis of the clinico-neurophysiological evaluation of 120 patients with cochleovestibular dysfunctions a mode of endaural reflexotherapy of the above pathology has been developed. The new treatment modality compares favourably with the existing ones in terms of degree of modulation of cochleovestibular function as well as hemodynamics and brain metabolism.
