[72-year-old biker with transient hemisyndrome].
The primary diagnosis of a transient ischemic attack (TIA) in a 72-year-old healthy biker with a motoric aphasia, facial (oral branch) paresis and a mild weakness of the arm, hat to be specified after several exams. There was found a cardiogenic embolization of the common carotc artery with a new discovered paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. We describe our genera considerations, the exams and the conclusions.
