[A rare case of coexistence of aneurysm of the abdominal aorta and sigmoid neoplasm].
A rare case is reported of coexistence of aortic abdominal aneurysm with sigmoid tumour. Emergency surgical treatment was instituted.

[Conservative treatment of arterial occlusion with streptokinase administered intra-arterially].
The effectiveness of conservative treatment of the occlusion of peripheral arteries with streptokinase administered intra-arterially was assessed in 16 cases. In 11 cases the blood flow in the extremity was returned (68.7%). Good therapeutic results were obtained in properly selected cases.

[Soft contact lens as an obturator in children with amblyopia].
The authors present the results of application of a soft contact lens in 16 children. The lens has been used for obturation of the master-eye in the treatment of amblyopia. Particular attention was committed to the improvement of the visual acuity, retinal fixation and position of the eyes.

[Practical value of intraoperative arterial angioscopy].
Practical value of the angioscopy is discussed. This technique belongs to the currently used diagnostic methods applied during the reparative operations of the arteries. Emphasis has been put on the application of this technique during an operation. Angioscopy is safe and efficiently supplements other techniques.
