Sexually induced dermatoses.

Sexually induced dermatoses (SID) are conditions resulting from sexual activity. Sometimes this can be modified by bacterial infection or systemic disease. Many materials such as medications, cosmetics, perfumes, pads, hygiene, sprays, condoms, etc, may cause sexually induced dermatoses in sexual partners. Sexually induced dermatoses are noninfectious, self-limited conditions.

Condylomata lata.

A case of perianal condylomata lata, one of a variety of skin lesions manifested in secondary syphilis, is presented.

Depigmentation of the male genitalia.

A study of the incidence of depigmentation of the male genitalia in patients attending a dermatology clinic is presented. Of the 5,000 consecutive new male patients examined, thirty-eight patients had white patches on the genitalia, sixteen of which were leukoderma due to post inflammatory hypopigmentation. The remaining twenty-two were classified as vitiligo, with no known cause.

Late yaws: a case report.

A case of late yaws in a young Omani man is described. The patient had bone and joint deformities and hyperkeratotic lesions of the palm and sole. The differential diagnosis of the nonvenereal treponematosis is discussed in the light of the clinical and laboratory findings and the patient's history.
