[Ozone hemotherapy and endogenous intoxication in gestoses].

The paper is concerned with the study of chief markers of endogenous intoxication such as bodily content of medium-weight molecules (MWM) in patients with grave forms of gestoses, as well as with quest for ways of initiating a correcting therapy. Results of complex studies permitted coming to the conclusion that endogenous intoxication in different forms of gestoses runs its course through stages. This validates not only MWM levels but peculiarities of their distribution in erythrocytes, blood plasma and urine of patients as well. In particular, a change in the urine MWM level depends on the functional state of the Kidneys. Decline in bodily content of the studied toxic substrates owing to inclusion of ozone hemotherapy in conventional intensive therapy of gestoses makes for an appreciable lessening of the degree of catabolic disturbances.

[The prevention and treatment of Curling's ulcers in children].

Experience of prophylaxis and treatment of stress ulcers of Curling and hemorrhage from them in 250 children with burn, aged from 5 months to 14 years, was analyzed. Complex of prophylactic measures, intensive antishock therapy and the actions algorithm in the hemorrhage occurrence from Curling's ulcers was elaborated, the experience of the membrane plasmapheresis application in children with severe and extremely severe burn was summarized.

[Laser in the prevention of early postoperative complications in the surgical treatment of obesity].

The results of conduction of operative interventions in 37 patients with alimentary-costitutional obesity are adduced. In 22 of them having the obesity of III-IV stages the small stomach 100-150 ml in volume was constructed puuling in it too tight with a synthetic ribbon. In 1-1.5 years after the operation patient loses 70-80% of excessive body mass, and severe metabolic disturbances never occur. In 15 patients cutaneo-subcutaneous aprons on the abdomen were excised. Intravascular blood irradiation with the help of helium-neon laser for the prophylaxis of early postoperative complications occurrence was conducted. The stimulating action of laserotherapy on the cell and humoral immunity groups, alike central and peripheral hemodynamics improvement, moderate hypocoagulating and analgetic effect, lowering of the purulent-septical and thromboembolic complications in 1.5-2 times was noted.

[Effect of hyperbaric oxygenation on hemodynamics in patients with infection].

The stage-wise character of the course of sepsis is substantiated on the basis of an analysis of the central venous pressure parameters, central and peripheral hematocrite, pulse rate, respiration, ECG data and rheohepatograms in 81 patients with surgical sepsis. The stage-wise course of sepsis is also confirmed by specific hemodynamic reactions of the organism in response to the first session of HBO which allows to differentiate the indications for this kind of treatment.
