ICD-9-CM coding from a manager's perspective.
This article discusses how a clinical manager can work with staff to select the best diagnoses and ICD-9-CM code for each patient. The selection of diagnoses must be based on all available information and be directly related to the home care services provided. Case studies are presented to show application.
