[Variant of the axial position of the thumb].
In the frontal photo of the hand, the thumb is presented in semilateral projection. In the investigation represented, in about 0.8% of photos radial deflection of the first metacarpal bone and lateral position of the thumb are noted. This variant of the thumb condition is accompanied by brachymesophalangia of the fifth finger.
