Removable dies used in fixed prosthodontics typically exhibit movement. A solid working cast permits the technician to perfect the interproximal contacts of fixed prostheses. This saves the clinician time at the insertion appointment. This article describes a quick and easy procedure for making a solid working cast with easily visualized margins.
