[Diagnostic value of R amplitude behavior at a recording site below the conventional thoracic wall recording in the diagnosis of chronic ischemic heart disease].

Sensitivity and specificity of the behaviour of the R-amplitudes under exercise are investigated at an additional lead position on the anterior chest wall, which in previous multi-electrode-examinations showed a higher sensitivity than the conventional Wilson-leads V 4 and V 5. For the criterion "increase of R-amplitudes" could certainly be confirmed a higher sensitivity at the additional lead position, the bad specificity both at the conventional and at the additional lead position allows, however, only the inclusion of the decrease of the physiological R-amplitude into the exclusion diagnostics of the chronic ischaemic heart disease.

[Regional differences in frequency-corrected QT duration in multi-electrode ECG in ventricular extrasystole].

Issuing from the pathophysiological significance of a prolongation of the QT-time for the diagnostics and therapy of ventricular arrhythmias examinations on 15 patients with ventricular extrasystoles by means of multi-electrode-ECG are demonstrated in comparison to 10 test persons with healthy heart. 2 regions on the thoracic surface with significant prolongation of the QT-time in the group of patients are described: Regio hypochondriaca parasternally left and left posterior axillary line at the level of the 7th and 8th thoracic vertebral body.

[Studies of heart function using apex cardiography in pregnancy-induced hypertension before and following therapy with dihydralazine sulfate].

The apex cardiogram and its 1st differential quotient were simultaneously registered with the phonocardiogram, the electrocardiogram and the curve of the carotid pulse in 10 female patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension before and after the therapy with dihydralazine sulphate. 10 healthy pregnant women of the same trimenon served as comparative group. Altogether 20 parameters were investigated which are regarded as acknowledged indices of the compliance, the contractility and the ability of relaxation. The changes which we found point to an increase of the preload in H-gestosis, which seems to be regressive after the therapy with dihydralazine sulphate. The parameters of contractility and relaxation, including the systolic time intervals, remained uninfluenced.
