Accessory cardiac bronchus: demonstration by computed tomography.

Distinctive computed tomography features of the accessory cardiac bronchus are illustrated. Bronchial anomalies, while rare, are important to recognize, especially if bronchoscopy or surgery is anticipated. Related clinical symptoms are thought to be secondary to retained secretions.

Computed tomography evaluation of recurrent Merkel cell carcinoma.

Merkel cell carcinoma is a rare cutaneous neoplasm with aggressive characteristics. Local recurrence following wide local excision is common. Computed tomography (CT) findings in a case of recurrent Merkel cell carcinoma are reported, with discussion of treatment options.
