Dental lamination: clinical problems and solutions.
Several complications associated with the use of dental laminates have been described. Most of the problems involve marginal discoloration, bonding, and retention. These difficulties can be addressed by proper construction of the laminates, prevention of salivary contamination, and meticulous attention to bonding procedures. Additional parameters involving occlusion, orthodontic appliances, and dietary habits can also contribute to the clinical complications with dental laminates.
