The values of PGf2 alpha were studied in 20 renal patients with renal hypertension, with and without chronic renal insufficiency via a radioimmunologic method. A control group of 10 healthy volunteers wer used without data from arterial hypertension. Values (672.0 +/- 99.5 pg/ml), being, with statistically significant difference, increased as compared with the healthy volunteers (347.13 +/- 49.9 pg/ml) were found in renal patients with chronic renal insufficiency. With the advancement of CRI in patients with renal hypertension, PG concentration was also increased (505.5 +/- 77.6 pg/ml) but it was not significant as in the patients without CRI. The elevated values of PGF2+ alpha suggest their participation in the pathogenesis of renal hypertension.

The concentrations of testosterone, estradiol, LH and FSH were studied in blood plasma of 84 healthy males and in the seminal plasma of 22 fertile males. The results obtained are juxtaposed to the concentrations of the indicated hormones in seminal fluid of 35 males with oligoasthenospermia and of 46 males with azoospermia. The concentration of the hormones in the seminal plasma was established to be equal to their concentrations in blood plasma. That enables their investigation in the seminal fluid in parallel with the spermogram. Normal fertility is admitted to be that fertility with a concentration of testosterone ranging from 250-550 mg%, of estradiol from 40-60 pg/ml, of LH-25-35 mlU/ml and of FSH from 20-30 mlU/ml. Reduced fertility has the concentrations of testosterone and estradiol reduced with more than 50% of the normal level, and that of gonadotropic--elevated with more than 50% of the normal level.

The results from the carried out investigations on fertility indices of ejaculate are reported as well as on the spermatogenic activity test with radioactive phosphorus and on the determination of total gonadotropic excretion in urine of males with high degree of obesity. A statistically significant decrease of all investigated in dices of ejaculate and the test of spermatogenic activity was found. The decreased gonadotropic activity in over half of the patients investigated with obesity, as well as the manifestations of diencephalic alterations in them made the authors admit the secondary character of the gonad disorders.
Twenty six patients with Kleinfelter syndrome were examined with the following tests being made use of: 1. J131 cumulation in thyroid gland. 2. Glycemia prior to and post loading with 100 g glucose at the 0 minute, 60th minute, 120th minute and 180th minute. 3. Dosage of protein conjugated iodine in blood. 4. Perchlorate test. 5. Dosage of thyroid hormone of blood level by radioimmunologic method. The results correlate withthe normal values of iodine cumulation and protein conjugated iodine as well as with the negative perchlorate test. The thyrotropic hormone level shows a tendency towards moderate elevation, without significant statistical correlation. No carbohydrate disturbances were found in any of the patients examined. Finally, the results obtained could be said to provide evidence for a euthyroid state and absence of disorders in carbohydrate metabolism in case of Kleinfelter syndrome.

The authors examined in vitro the action of sera, obtained from patients with acute leucosis during the first attack and relapse on PHA (phytoheagglutinins)-M-reactivity of lymphocytes, obtained from healthy donors and olymphocytes obtained from leucemic patients. They found that sera inhibited in vitro the effects of PHA-M both on lymphocytes of patients and of healthy donors. There was stimulating effect of sera in vitro in single cases under autologic conditions.
The author examined the action of leucemic sera (first attack, repapse and remission) on the reactivity of lymphocytes, obtained from patients with acute myeloblastic (AML) in mixed cultures of lymphocytes, which was compared with the reactivity in the medium of fetal calf serum and pool of normal human serum. Twelve out of 21 Leucemic sera, obtained from patients with AML during their first attack or relapse inhibited completely the mixed lympholytec cultures under autologic conditions. Eight leucemic sera with established inhibiting action under autologic conditions preserved it under allogenic conditions as well. Sera of patients with acute myeloblastic leucosis during remission did not have inhibiting action on mixed lymphocytic cultures. These results suggested the presence of factor(s) in the sera of patients with acute myeloblastic leucosis during the first attack or relapse, which inhibited mixed lymphocytic cultures.
The total non-conjugated plasma cortisol in 60 patients with hypertension disease (HD)is 17.5 mkg/ml. The free non-conjugated cortisol represents 8.45 per cent of the total - 1,5 mkg%, considerably (p less than 0.0001) higher than that in healthy subjects. Protein conjugated cortisol is 16.0 mkg%. The bounding capacity of transcortin the plasma of hypertonics is considerably decreased (p less than 0.0001) - 15.8 mkg (in healthy - 18.5 mkg) per 100 ml. ACTH level in the plasma of patients with HD is 32.0 pg/ml, considerably higher than that in healthy (25.8 pg/ml, p less than 0.0001). The elevation of the biologically active cortisol fraction in plasma of hypertonics is a function both of hypothalamo-hypopheseal stimulation and of transcortin level. That latent hypercortisolism is admitted to be manifestation of hypothalamo - hypopheseal superstimulation by increased ACTH secretion, in case of confirmed cerebro-hypothalamic disturbances in patients with hypertension disease.

Ninety subjects were examined; 20 healthy males, 20 patients with primary hypogonadism, 30 patients with Klinefelter's syndrome and 20 patients with secondary hypogonadism. The stimulating test with 200 mug LH-RH and 200 mug TTH was carried out tp all subjects examined, applied in two successive o.v. injections. The plasma as regards the levels of TTH, prolactin, FSH, LH, ACTH and STH is investigated every 0,20, 30, 60 and 90 minutes. The levels of tbe mentioned hormones were determined as well as the normal respond reaction. The basic LH and FSH levels are considerabty elevated in patients with primary hypogonadism and Klinefelter's syndrome and the respond reaction to stimulation is normal or diminished. A strict correlation between the number of X chromosomes and the level of FSH and LH was established in the patients with Klinefelter's syndrome. With respect to TTH, the basic, level in patients with primary hypogonadism in normal in 13 patients and pathological deviations were found in 7 patients. A strict correlation between TTH level and the number of X-chromosomes exists, Prolactin level in both groups is decreased. In patients with secondary hypogonadism the basic level of LH and ESH is decreased or at the lower limits of the norm. The respond reaction is absent. Both TTH and prolactin levels are pathologically changed as well as the respond reactions to stimulation depending on the etiology of the primary endocrine distrubance that had led to hypoginadism development.
