[Computer-aided modeling of new keratoscopes].
The paper focuses on the computer-aided modeling of keratoscopes. A computer-aided model of a conic keratoscope designed by the authors is under discussion. The model was elaborated on the basis of object-oriented programming and is a soft-tool modeling the keratoscope operation. Besides, the offered model provides for constructing a realistic image of the measuring equipment type, which, in its turn, enables the designer to analyze visually the influence of various misalignments in the optic system elements produced on the quality of registered keratograms and to assess quantitatively the lateral and axial tolerances of the equipment targeting.
