[The determination of the critical fusion frequency of light flickering in disseminated sclerosis patients].

A study is presented of 50 healthy persons and 41 patients suffering of multiple sclerosis. Mean values of the critical frequency of light flickering merging (correspondingly to red and green light) in the healthy was 37 +/- 0.5 and 40 +/- 0.4 Hz, in patients -29 +/- 0.8 and 31 +/- 0.7 Hz. Reduction of the indices of critical frequency of merging of light flickering to red light was noted in 82.9% of patients, to red light--in 92.7% of patients evidencing a high information value of this method.

[Microcomputers for training and monitoring of exercises in ophthalmology].

The author discusses the potentialities of programmed microcalculators used in the training of medical students. Employment of programmed microcalculators makes the training process and interrogation tests more interesting. Variants of applied programs for the training and control to be used with the Elektronika B3-34, MK-61, MK-52 microcalculators are presented.
