[Degradation of nucleic acids during generation of superoxide-anion in the presence of copper ions].

The efficiency of Escherichia coli nucleic acids samples: covalently closed circular DNA, linear chromosomal DNA, total RNA degradation mediated by the action of high oxygen pressure; hydrochloric hydroxylamine in alkaline conditions in the presence of cooper ions and in analogous conditions without cooper ions was studied. The nativity of nucleic acids was determined by means of fluorometric analysis of nucleic acids/ethidium bromide complexes. Experiments revealed, that the destructive effect of active oxygen species decreased in the following order: NH2OH.HCl in alkaline conditions in the presence of copper ions-NH2.HCl in alkaline conditions--high pressure of pure oxygen. The stability of nucleic acids decreased in the following order: covalently closed circular DNA-linear DNA-RNA.

[Effect of hyperbaric oxygenation on the survivability, mutagenesis and recombinogenesis of single-cell organisms].

The hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) has been studied for its ability to induce the cell death and different genetic variations in normal and repair defective strains of bacteria (Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhimurium) and of yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) strains with different ploidy. HBO is shown to induce an increase in the mutability of excision-repair defective strains and a decrease in the survival rate of error-prone repair defective strains of the procaryote. HBO is a weak recombinogen for yeast and induces no mutations of the haploid strain. The results obtained reflect doubt on the community of the mechanisms of radiation and HBO actions on the cell.

[Computer study of the dynamics of human movement].

Dynamics of control and construction of man's movement was modeled on a computer. Measuring--computing complex was elaborated which involved means for movement recording, mathematical model and program provision for computing direct and inverse problems of dynamics. Equations of movement and subsequent operations were carried out directly on the computer. Cubic smoothing splines were used during approximation and differentiation of the experimental data. Two human concrete movements were studied. It was found that control over man's elementary movements was realized according to TAU laws in complex movements controling and stabilizing functions of the movements can be distinguished.
