[Normobaric hypoxytherapy is an effective method the complex treatment of chronic prostatitis].

The purpose of research consist in an estimation of efficiency of treatment of patients with CP by using normabaric hypoxitherapy (NHT). The basic group (32 patients) received standard treatment and NHT. Control group (20 patients) received only standard treatment. All patients passed j clinical, laboratory, tool inspections. It fixed, inclusion in complex therapy CP normabaric hypoxitherapy was accompanied by essential positive changes on the part of all systems of an organism, and, in turn, considerably raised efficiency of treatment. It was shown in elongation of the period of the remission, expressed positive effects on parameters of hemodynamics, the hormonal status at ill the basic group.

[Ultrasonographic control of the renal state after remote shock- wave nephroureterolithotripsy].

The paper is concerned with the problems of ultrasound diagnosis of nephrolithiasis during distant shock-wave nephroureterolithotripsy. A scheme of ultrasound investigation of patients was developed. The morpho-functional state of the kidney was assessed during lithotripsy of calculi of different localization. A skialogical picture of the most spread concrements was described. USI was shown to be a highly effective diagnostic method permitting one to determine a degree of renal regeneration during therapy.

[Comparative analysis of long-term results of treating chronic prostatis with the use of the Andro-Gin device].

Follow-up examinations covered 91 patients aged from 20 to 60 years with chronic prostatitis (CP) history 1-18 years. The primary examination has found that 79.1% examinees has CP complicated with sexual dysfunction, disturbed spermatogenesis and psychoneurological disorders. In one group of CP patients etiopathogenetic treatment of CP was combined with magneto-laser-electrostimulation of the prostate provided by the unit Andro-Gin. This combined treatment proved more effective as it induced long-term remission (two years and longer) in 60.5% patients. Unsatisfactory results were minimal. Without use of the unit unsatisfactory results were recorded in 35% patients.

[Psychophysiological characteristics of patients with chronic prostatitis].

The aim of the study was to characterize mental changes in chronic prostatitis (CP) patients after the addition of a combination of local and central reflex physiotherapeutic factors to combined treatment 149 patients with infectious and noninfectious CP entered the study. The study group (n = 94) received combined treatment including physiotherapeutic factors (ANDRO-GIN unit). The control group (n = 55) received standard CP therapy. All the patients have undergone clinical, laboratory, device and psychophysiological examinations. Thus, addition of physiotherapy to combined treatment of CP raises the treatment efficacy and promotes optimization of "an internal picture of illness"--one of major characteristics of the patient's psychological condition.

[Effects of pressure and flow rate of irrigation liquid on hydrodynamics of the upper urinary tract in contact ureterolithotripsy].

We studied the influence of pressure and rate of irrigative liquid flow on hydrodynamics of the upper urinary tracts in contact pneumatic lithotripsy (Litoclast lithotriptor) in 68 patients with ureteroliths and nephrostomic drainage. To a nephrostome the device was attached on which the linear change of pressure inside the pelvis was measured at the moment of visualization of the stone, its destruction and final ureteroscopy. 45 patients had nephrostome with a pelvis curl. In this group of patients at the moment of stone destruction the pressure inside the pelvis and the speed of irrigative flow were increased. In patients with marked local inflammation on the place of stone location the pressure inside the pelvis was the highest. The effect of communicating vessels was seen. The stone was completely destroyed in 34 (75.5%) patients, in 9 (20%) patients the stone was destroyed partially. In 2 cases the stone migrated in the cavitary system of the kidney. A nephrostome-intubator was placed antegradely in 23 patients. The balloon-obturator was placed in the ureter above the stone through the nephrostome. The pressure inside the pelvis during contact lithotripsy was not increased. Full destruction of the stone was achieved in 26 patients (92.8%), migration of the stone in the cavitary system and partial destruction of the stone was observed in 2 (2.2%) patients.

[Optimal treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with comorbid chronic prostatitis (category IIIA)].

The trial of efficacy of physical factors in combined treatment of BPH stage I patients with concomitant abacterial chronic prostatitis (category IIIA) enrolled 42 patients who were divided into two groups. Group 1 received combined treatment including complex physical factors (CAP-ELM-01). The efficacy of the treatment was judged by dynamics of clinical and device indices and severity of leading CP syndromes. It is shown that physical factors contributed to noticeable improvement in the parameters of prostatic secretion, uroflowmetry, size of the prostate, hemodynamics, clinical manifestations of chronic prostatitis.
