[Characteristics of external respiration function and pulmonary circulation in patients with ischemic heart disease complicated by disorders of intraventricular conduction].

The authors provide evidence on the condition of external respiration and hemodynamic shifts in the lesser and greater circulation in coronary patients with bundle-branch block; establish early objective quantitative criteria of the diagnosis of hemodynamic impairment arising in formation of the above blocks basing on ECG, phonocardiography, echocardiography findings; compare hemodynamic effects of single-dose nitrosorbide and corinfar in the above patients. Nitrosorbide and corinfar correct hemodynamics and external respiration, the former being more effective in normalizing the greater, while corinfar the lesser circulation.

[The correction of motor-tonic disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and of duodenogastric reflux with laser radiation].

Forty-five patients with duodenogastric reflux and defective gastroduodenal motor tonicity (gastroduodenal hypotonia, duodenal hypertension, gastric hypotonia in combination with duodenal hypertension) were exposed to He--Ne laser radiation. The impact was focused on the biologically active points G14, TR5, VC15, E21. The treatment resulted in normalization of the gastrointestinal pressure gradient, in discontinuance or reduction of duodenogastric reflux.

[Changes in the microcirculation of the pericardium of the dog during adaptation to static muscular loads].

The data obtained revealed an increase of physiological working ability, economizing of a number of functions on the systemic level as well as morphological parameters of the vascular microregion in the course of training--adaptation to muscular loads in dogs. Apart from that, an increasing permeability for water and protein was maintained due to a beneficial readjustment of the microregion--module communications as well as to augmentation of all the parameters of the metabolic link. Desadaptation led to decreasing physiological working ability and inadequate increase in the circulation and respiration on the level of systemic parameters. On the other hand, the transcapillary exchange of water and protein was significantly decreased with a respective morphological reduction of the pericardium capillaries' metabolic surface.

[Ultraweak luminescence of blood plasma in experimental embolism of the main arteries of the limbs].

The changes in the level of blood plasma chemiluminescence initiated by hydrogen peroxide and divalent iron were studied in experiments on 15 dogs with aorta bifurcation embolism. After occlusion of the arteries the level of iron-initiated chemiluminescence decreases. The level of hydrogen peroxide-initiated luminiscence increases simultaneously, reaches the maximum after 6-hour occlusion and subsequently tends to decrease. Hydrogen peroxide-initiated statistically significant increase in luminescence allows one to form a judgement about duration of the disease. After blood flow recovery in the limbs there take place a rise in the level of hydrogen-peroxide initiated hemiluminescence and subsequent iron-initiated hemiluminescence level drop.

[Antithrombotic prophylaxis after surgical interventions on the major veins].

Eight-year experience in conducting antithrombotic prophylaxis, by methods elaborated by the authors, in 93 patients operated on for acute thrombosis in the system of venae cavae superior and inferior is generalized. On the basis of the results, the authors advanced the main principle of antithrombotic prophylaxis, the necessity for simultaneous correction of disorders of blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, and aggregation of formed elements of the blood. They showed that the efficacy of postoperative antithrombotic prophylaxis depends on the presence and character of hemodynamic disorders in the involved extremity. It is established that general fractional heparinization is not suitable for antithrombotic prophylaxis due to low efficacy and high rate of hemorrhagic complications. Continuous regional infusion of rheopolyglucin-heparin mixture with nicotinic acid and Trental ensures in most cases correction of the thrombotic condition of hemostasis and effective prevention of rethrombosis of the major veins with minimum hazard of hemorrhagic complications.
