ENB framework enhances midwifery practice.
The UKCC code of practice stipulates the importance of professional competence. The ENB framework offers a means of developing competence in a way that is structured and focused. In this paper, the author describes how she used the framework as a basis for developing her practice and improving the quality of care she gives.
