A review is made of the more important works, issued during the years of Soviet rule, and concerning the life and activities of the most outstanding physicians--classicists of the world medical science (Hyppocrate, Galen, Avizena, Leonardo da Vinci etc). It is stressed that the works of the great representatives of the medico-biological sciences are an effective means for the correct ideologic and theoretic education of the modern generations of medical doctors and for the enrichment of research and investigation methods.
