[Experiences with the lateral upper arm flap].
This is a report on 73 cases of free lateral arm-flap transplantations (success rate 96%). The flaps were used for a wide range of indications to cover defects measuring up to 6 x 20 cm. 47 donor-site defects in 45 patients were evaluated according to subjective and objective criteria in order to permit comparison with other studies on donor-site defects in the German Group for Microsurgery of Peripheral Nerves and Vessels (DAM).
