[The effect of training flights on the level of statokinetic resistance in the aviation cadets of foreign armies].

The article studies the influence of training flight upon the statokinetic resistance of cadets from foreign countries. It was found out that in the process of flight training the level of statokinetic resistance was growing, and simultaneously the vegetative, sensor and somatic manifestations were decreasing, and the period of stable equilibration in N.N. Bondarevskiĭ test was increasing. The most pronounced changes in statokinetic resistance was marked in the cadets from Mozambique, Mongolia and Angola; the smallest--in cadets from Vietnam and Laos. In order to optimize the flight training of cadets and safety of training flights it is recommended to apply the system of complex medical monitoring, which will realize the control over the psychophysiological state and statokinetic resistance during the whole period of training.

[The psychophysiological characteristics and correction of extreme states of an informational-semantic origin].

The article deals with the general characteristics of extreme states influence. The authors systematize the factors which may be considered as extreme ones. The article shows that the development of different extreme states frequently is predetermined by informative-semantic nature. The following types of extreme states of informative-semantic genesis were studied: emotional tension, anxiety, fear, affective excitement, inhibition, depersonalization. There are psychophysiological characteristics of these states and basic methods of its correction.

[Body adaptive reactions to a change in the work and rest regimen].

The authors report that a transition of a human organism to a non-standard work and rest regimen in conditions of hermetization is followed by the development of adaptation reactions of body protecting functions. The strength of these reactions is determined by the correspondence of the twenty-four-hour activity cyclogram to the circadian physiologic rhythm. The depression of protecting reactions, the slowing down of adaptation process and the appearance of disadaptation sings occur more often among operators, whose twenty-four-hour activity algorithm demands working from 04.00 to 12.00 and from 16.00 to 24.00 with a four-hour shift cycle. The correspondence of the work and rest regimen to the twenty-four-hour cycle of physiologic functions in the conditions of chronophysiologic tension, decreases adaptation changes and prevents the development of body protective and accommodative insufficiency.

[The biorhythmological aspects of flight activities].

The quality of adaptative reactions is determined by evolutionary possibilities to speed the reconstruction of biological process. As a rule these are transmeridian and orbital flights which drastically change the biorythmological structure of functions of human organism due to alterations occurred in the so-called "time-sensors". The prolonged desynchronization of physiological functions caused by the external factors could become the primary reason of morbid status and low performance capability which thus will need preventive and corrective treatment.

[The work organization of an office of ultrasonic studies in a polyclinic].

In the process of work of ultrasound room the optimal correlation between various ultrasound examinations was found out: hepato-pancreatico-biliary system-40%, urogenital system-30%, thyroid-15%, uterus and its appendages-5%, lactiferous glands-5%, other examinations-5%. Special coupons were issued for passing ultrasound examination: it gives the possibility to plan the maximal working loads at matutinal hours, keeping the end of the working day for strictly specialized ultrasound examinations.

[A trial of the pharmacological correction of sleep disorders in sailors during a cruise].

The article makes a comparative estimation of the efficiency between the benzodiazepine pharmacological group (selenium, diazepam) and adaptogens of the plant origin (Extractum Leuzeae carthamoidis fluidum) for correction of sleeping disorders in seamen during cruise. The application of elenium and diazepam have caused the unpleasant subjective sensations, such as psychoemotional retardation, sluggishness, apathism and headaches. After application of Extractum Leuzeae there were no side effects like a drug hang-over; the health status, functional state and job performance of seamen were improved. Having taken Extractum Leuzeae the seamen had the normalization of sleeping in 5-7 days.

[Efficiency of preventive use of bemethyl during long-term voyages].

A positive effect of bemityl in the 24-hour dose of 0.25-0.5 g on the cellular and humoral factors of nonspecific defence, blood neutrophils intracellular exchange, barrier properties of the skin, working ability of operators and on morbidity has been established. An important property of the drug is long duration of preservation of the pharmacological effect, which prevents the development of disadaptation states following the cessation of its use. The data obtained gives the basis to recommend the actoprotective drug bemityl to increase nonspecific resistance during long-term voyages.

[Physiological changes in the blood leukocyte system of sailors].

The complex appreciation of qualitative and quantitative changes in leukocyte blood system of sailors was performed. After short cruise there were moderate deviations of several hematological indexes that determine the dependency between quantity of leukocytes in peripheral blood and their functional characteristics. The biggest deviation of indexes, that testifies about metabolic changes comes to 9-14%, and immunobiological changes-up to 20-33%. After middle cruise the deviation comes to 15-23% (intracellular metabolism), and to 39-54% (immunobiological changes). After long cruise-up to 18-23% (intracellular metabolism) and 45-65% (immunobiological changes). The application of this methodical approach may widen the possibilities of the medical control over the health of sailors.
