[Several aspects of software implementation of a computerized pulse diagnostics complex].

To develop a diagnostic system based on the methods of Tibetan medicine is actual due to the extensive, highly informative and well-structuralized database accumulated in Tibetan pulse diagnosis. There are several methods for processing the signals which may be useful in making a diagnostic catalogue of pulses. Some aspects of building software for the function of signal input, data processing and storage. Methods for programming and results of introducing the developed software for research purposes are briefly discussed.

[High frequency component of heart rhythm].

The heart rhythmogram was studied which was drawn according to the sphygmogram and R-R peaks of the electrocardiogram. Autocorrelation analysis of the high frequency component of the rhythmogram showed the presence of the rhythm with the period of 2 cardiointervals (27) in it, which is expressed on the autocorrelation function curve by a negative value of the correlation coefficient at the first shift. The calculation of the wave dispersion with period 2T in comparison with the waves of other period showed that their power is rather great and comparable to the show wave power of the I or II orders (with the period 10 + 20 or 30 + 50 s respectively). The rhythm with the period of 2 cardiointervals is probably connected with the governing system of the heart of a lower level.

[Pulse wave recording device].

The paper explains the causes of incorrect sphygmogram recording and describes the physical principle of a pulse wave recording device, its designing and technical features. Evidence is given for the advantages of pneumatic pressing over mechanic one, thereby enhancing the reproducibility and accuracy of pulse wave recording. Trials have indicated that the use of the proposed device needs much less time for making pulse diagnosis.

[Amplitude-time and phase characteristics of pulse signal force transducer in multizone pulse diagnosis].

The paper provides numerical calculations of module-argument relationship of the transducing function of a pulse signal force transducer in the multiarea pulse diagnostic device to the parameters of the oscillation system. It is shown that free oscillations of the low-frequency oscillation system at 300 pi rad/c or more may yield allowable phase and amplitude-time distortions of signal A transduction, with real values of damping of a low-frequency part of the oscillation system, the noninformity of amplitude-time characteristics is no more than 30% in the working frequency range of the force transducer.
