[The diagnostic value and possible mechanism of the dynamic characteristics of the electroencephalogram in tumors of the brain].
It was established that the trajectory of the excitative area (an increase of negativity) on the surface of the brain does not go through the place of the tumor. It either stops there during a certain period of time or makes a sharp turn, or is subjective to a splitting. In such cases the excitative area does not extend in the usual way in one direction, but speards simultaneously to opposite sides. The author discusses the possible influence of the pathological corticofugal impulsations from the perifocal zone of the tumor on the mechanism of pacemaker scanning.
