[Surgeon's strategies in gastroduodenal ulcer hemorrhage].

The results of surgical treatment of 1491 patients with gastroduodenal ulcer, complicated by gastrointestinal hemorrhage, were analyzed. Among 757 patients, operated on, there were performed truncal vagotomy, selective proximal vagotomy, pyloroduodenoplasty, duodenoplasty, gastric resection, sectoral gastric resection. Application of elaborated lifesaving active individually-rational tactics have permitted to lower the total and postoperative mortality in occurrence of the ulcer gastroduodenal hemorrhage.

[Organizational strategies in the treatment of acute cholecystitis in geriatric patients].

Method of physical demucosation of gallbladder in the patients with cholecystitis was depicted. Immediate and late follow-up results of the method application testify, that in comparison with conventional cholecystectomy it is technically simple and significantly less traumatic and radical.

[Ultrasonography for acute cholecystitis at a specialized surgical center].

Of 132 patients with the assumed acute cholecystitis diagnose 94 were operated on. Application of ultrasonic investigation and other noninvasive methods permits to determine for sure the acute cholecystitis diagnose, the form of gallbladder inflammation and stipulates the choice of treatment tactics and method of operation procedure.
