[Characteristics of the changes in mental activity of children with pathology of the biliary tract].

The paper treats of the data on the psychoneurological sphere in preschool children suffering from dyskinesia of the biliary tract. A study was made of the psychoneurological status of 120 schoolchildren with biliary pathology. Three variants of the +cerebro-asthenic syndrome were revealed: ++astheno-adynamic, ++astheno-hyperdynamic and moderately marked ones. To objectively evaluate the mental status and the structure of mental activity disorders, all the children underwent an experimental and psychological examination. A relationship was discovered between the changes in mental activity and the variant of the cerebrasthenic syndrome and the child's age. The most remarkable changes in mental activity were recorded in children with the ++astheno-adynamic variant of the +cerebro-asthenic syndrome.

[2 approaches to experimental psychology studies in psychopathies].

The paper deals with some results of experimental psychological studies of psychopathic personalities, which indicate the efficacy of using not only experimental data for verifying the existing clinical concepts. Such studies are important as well for formulating some psychological hypotheses, the solution of certain questions on the basis of the known personality theories in psychology. The possibility of using psychological examinations for the study of motivations in psychopathies are discussed. For the 4 forms of psychopathy (explosive, hysterical, inhibited, paranoidal) the prevalent motives are singled out, which in normals as a rule are not the leading ones.

[Behavioral tactics of schizophrenic patients and psychopathic personalities in a probabilistic setting].

In experiments on structural disturbances of prognostication in psychopathic personalities and schizophrenic patients with psychopathlike disorders on the model of "probable prognosis" the study of 2 situations was attempted: the prognosis made by the examinee of changes in the environment and the prognosis in conditions of interaction with the "opponent". The studies demonstrated the influence of different tasks on the activity and varying degree of motivation on the tactics of behaviour in probable situations. The data obtained permit to evaluate in a new light the hypotheses of disturbed probable structures of the past experience. It is concluded that at least 3 determinants should be analyzed: tasks of activity, motivation and probable characteristics of events. New facts have been obtained, concerning the disturbed prognostication in psychopathic personalities under conditions of increased significance of signals.

[Critical capabilities in psychopathics].

The authors studied the capabilities of psychopathic personalities (58 cases) to control their behaviour by involving such factors as the past experience, the existing knowledge selfestimation, the level of pretension. The results of such studies established insufficiency of controlling the activities in using the past experience, inadequate selfestimation and level of pretension, incapability to a prognosis of the aftereffects of personal actions. These disturbances may determine the disturbances of critical capabilities in psychopathy.
