[Vitrectomy of vitreal cryoextraction for treatment of intravitreal cysticercosis].
Thirteen (13) patients of intravitreal cysticercosis were treated by vitrectomy (10 patients) or vitreal cryoextraction (3 patients) with successful removal of the parasites. The surgical procedure was described with discussions. Vitrectomy was especially advantageous to late cases of the disease.
