A MIL-88@Ru-based molecularly imprinted electrochemiluminescence sensor for highly selective and sensitive detection of enrofloxacin residues in animal-derived foods.

Using a metal-organic framework (MOF) - supported Ru(bpy)32+ (MIL-88@Ru) composite luminescent material, this study innovatively adopted electropolymerization to fabricate a molecularly imprinted polymer-based electrochemiluminescent (MIP-ECL) sensor for enrofloxacin (ENR) detection in animal-derived foods. Systematic investigation of the ECL luminescence and ENR's quenching mechanism confirmed that the sensor integrates ECL's high sensitivity and MIP's high specificity, enabling rapid and accurate recognition of ENR. Experimental results show a good linear response in the range of 1 nmol/L-20 μmol/L (R2 = 0.99), a limit of detection (LOD) as low as 0.28 nmol/L, as well as excellent selectivity and stability. Recoveries of ENR in all investigated matrices ranged from 97.7% to 106.4%, confirming the reliability of the established method. This ECL-MIP coupling strategy provides a new technical approach and application references for the efficient detection of trace pollutants in food safety and environmental monitoring fields.

Acquiring 1053 nm femtosecond laser emission by optical parametric amplification based on supercontinuum white-light injection.

We report a terawatt-Ti:sapphire-laser-pumped high-energy femtosecond optical parametric amplifier (OPA) with supercontinuum white-light injection. Signal pulses with a duration less than 100 fs and energy up to 4 mJ are obtained with large-aperture LiNbO3 crystals. This megajoule-class femtosecond OPA at 1053 nm presents a feasible alternative to optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification and is ready to be applied to petawatt lasers.

Quasicubic alpha-Fe2O3 nanoparticles with excellent catalytic performance.

Uniform quasicubic alpha-Fe(2)O(3) nanoparticles enclosed by six identical {110} planes were synthesized by a simple solvothermal method. TEM investigations revealed that they were formed through oriented attachment of primary nanocrystals assisted by Ostwald ripening, and PVP surfactant played an important role in control over the final morphology of the products. These quasicubic nanoparticles could catalyze oxidation of almost 100% CO at a temperature of 230 degrees C, much lower than those of nanophases with flowerlike, hollow, or other forms of irregular external morphologies having various crystal planes exposed to the gas, indicating that the external morphology and especially the exposure crystal planes of alpha-Fe(2)O(3) nanocatalyst affect the catalytic activity more significantly than the traditionally accepted factors (such as high BET surface area, hollow structure, etc.) do for CO catalytic oxidation.

Improved fast fractional-Fourier-transform algorithm.

Through the optimization of the main interval of the fractional order, an improved fast algorithm for numerical calculation of the fractional Fourier transforms is proposed. With this improved algorithm, the fractional Fourier transforms of a rectangular function and a Gaussian function are calculated. Its calculation errors are compared with those calculated with the previously published algorithm, and the results show that the calculation accuracy of the improved algorithm is much higher.
