An unusual reaction to a broken surgical bur in the oral cavity.
A case is described of a broken surgical bur that was left behind in the oral soft tissue after an oral surgical procedure. It was associated with an unusual soft tissue reaction.

Actinomycosis after cyst enucleation.
A case report of actinomycosis associated with bony sequestra resulting from a post-operative infection of a dental cyst in a young patient is presented. The need for careful wound debridement as a prophylactic measure is emphasized.
