The paper discusses methodology for the vibration perception measurement as well as specifies the mean values and standard deviation of the vibration perception threshold in people not exposed to vibration. The increase of the threshold level of vibration perception in chain-saw operators, chippers and grinders has also been analysed.
Results of noise measurements on work post before and after modernization are presented. In the majority of examined work areas noise levels were lowered by 2--20 dB(A) after machine modernization. Present noise level is there about 90 dB(A). On the other hand limit the noise level on work post of rewinders, trosiners and looms has not been changed. So far noise level on these areas has exceeded permissible level by 5--14 dB(A).
